John Deere 4240 Universal Display

Take advantage of the robust and easy-to-use 4240 Universal Display. Enhanced data merging functionalities to increase on-board/off-board flexibility, data capturing capabilities that precisely map and operate Section Control and precisely apply multiple products simultaneously with individual coverage maps and application points are just a couple things the display can do for you. Uptime is better with setup and startup operations by the improved display navigation and the ability to wirelessly deliver display subscriptions and software with the wireless USB adapter.

  1. Machine connector – the machine connector port is the harness connection point for the machine and the 4240 Universal Display
  2. Ethernet port – ethernet connectivity is required for Remote Display Access (RDA) and Wireless Data Transfer (WDT)

Using your own StarFire network John Deere can provide you with a reliable, accurate, and repeatable signal customized to your needs, delivering the accuracy and control you want. Developed in 1998, the StarFire network was the world’s first Global Satellite-Based Augmentation System (GSBAS) capable of decimeter real-time accuracy! Wow!

  • Fast pull-in time and improved performance in shaded conditions

StarFire 6000 with SF3

  • Provides +/- 1.2-inch pass-to-pass accuracy
  • Provides in-season repeatability meaning that the A/B lines you establish for planting can be used for harvest

  • Requires a StarFire 6000 receiver, SF3 Ready Activation
  • Requires John Deere SF3 subscription

Radio TRK 450

  • Provides +/- 1-inch pass-to-pass accuracy season after season, and year after year
  • Use a Dealer-owned RTK network to reduce your administrative expenses
  • Provides less chance of radio interference, and RTK Extend to minimize shading signal loss
  • Requires a StarFire 6000 receiver, SF3 Ready Activation, and RTK Ready Activation
  • Requires RTK subscription provided Martin or your own base station

RTK Mobile

  • Provides +/- 1-inch pass-to-pass accuracy season after season, and year after year
  • Allows you to use RTK precision in difficult areas such as hilly terrain because there is no line-of-sight requirement to the base station
