THE ALL NEW JOHN DEERE X9 SERIES COMBINE

Many of you might have heard by now that John Deere came out with a new combine – the X9 Series. Who is ready to get in the seat of one? We are!

The X9 Series can tackle wet corn, tough straw, and any less-than-ideal harvest conditions. These new combines deliver an average of 45% more harvesting capacity across all crops, with no sacrifice in grain quality. Do we have your attention now? Looking where you need to sign? Not yet? Let’s keep going. The X9 series uses 20% less fuel! And the X9 1100 can harvest up to 30 acres an hour in wheat and it can harvest up to 7,200 bushels an hour in high-yielding corn, which is more than enough to fill 7 semi-trailer trucks per hour. Alright, that is enough for us to sign here.

There are two models: X9 1000 and X9 1100.

The X9 1000 has:

  • a 4.6 bu/s peak unload rate
  • 420-bushel power folding grain tank
  • 630 Max engine horsepower
  • JDLink™ Connect
  • front wheels or tracks

The X9 1100 has:

  • a 5.3 bu/s peak unload rate
  • 460-bushel power folding grain tank
  • 690 Max engine horsepower
  • JDLink™ Connect
  • front wheels or tracks.

Wow! And there is even more we can talk about with the new X9 Series that is quite impressive. The dual separator has an increased threshing area of 45% and separating area of 80%. The cleaning shoe offers 36% more cleaning area. You can unload a FULL tank in about a minute and a half – up to 5.3 bushels per second! The feederhouse is 23% wider to handle additional crop flow and wider headers. The new John Deer 13.6-liter engine delivers up to a 45% increase in harvesting capacity, while only needing 11% more horsepower than an S790.

This new combine has us excited and we hope you too! If the new X9 Series Combine interests you or you have questions, contact your local Martin Sales Team today!

That’s Harvesting to the Power of X.
